Little Buddy Package

About

This package is ideal for families who are new to Blooming Buds tutoring, or for students who need extra support as opposed to intense intervention. Sommer will utilize current available data provided by the family, as well as valid screening assessments to identify any gaps your child may have. From there, she will build a plan for success for your child.

Blooming Buds Tutoring understands that learning should be stimulating and fun, and that starts by tailoring lessons to pique your child's interests to keep them engaged. This could be as simple as designing an interactive game featuring your child's favorite movie or video game character!  The Little Buddy Package is a great starting point for young learners!

  • Blooming Buds Tutoring does not use one set curriculum. However, our tutors are trained in the Ortan-Gillingham approach to phonics (great for early readers or those who struggle with Dyslexia). We also have access to the UFLI Foundations Phonics Curriculum, and the CKLA Curriculum(Core Knowledge Language Arts).

Blooming Buds Tutoring is not about the materials we use, it is about the practices and methods we employ. Blooming Buds Tutoring is resourceful. We are constantly learning more through current research to adapt our practices to fit the needs of our students. We use a variety of educational resources to compile what we need to support student growth.
